Tuesday Team News...
PEN: Coote, Simmons, Vaivai, Tighe, Purtell, Burns, Walsh, McKendry, Kingston, Grant, Waterhouse (c), Plum, Smith. Bench: Seluini, Weston, Bell, Fatiaki, Walker, Seijka.
[Team Changes - The Panthers have Petero Civoniceva and Luke Lewis on Origin 3 duty. Kevin Kingston is not 100% with a groin problem and Junior Vaivai has a bruised knee. As a result Ryan Walker and Harry Seijka are in line to make their NRL debuts after being named on an extended bench and Nigel Plum returns from a knee injury in the second row. ]

Tipping + Fantasy Late Mail...
SMH and Other Late Mail 1/07 - The Sharks and Bunnies are expected to be as named, despite John Sutton battling a hip complaint. The Sharks also expect Kade Snowden (neck) to play, with John Williams and Scott Porter back in training - so they might be outside chances this or next week.
The NRL Tweet's Tip...
SHARKS To Win By 4 Points.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL
              V
3:05pm (Local) 3 July @ WIN Stadium, Wollongong.
Coming In...
2nd DRAGONS TEAM RECORD 11-3-1 for 25 Points, +119.
6th KNIGHTS TEAM RECORD 7-7 for 18 Points, +5.
Head to Head Last 10...
DRAGONS 7 KNIGHTS 3 - St.George-Illawarra won 20-18 in Round 4 and have won 4 of the last 5.
Tuesday Team News...
STI: Nightingale, Tagive, McKinnon, Stanley, Simmonds, Fien, Hornby (c), Hunt, Young, Weyman, Cuthbertson, Greenfield, Prior. Bench: Green, Rein, De Belin, Gower, Bosden, Marketo.
[Team Changes - The Dragons have a thousand Origin players... out go Beau Scott, Ben Creagh, Jamie Soward, Trent Merrin, Brett Morris, Darius Boyd and Mark Gasnier - although Merrin and Morris could be an outside chance of playing club footy this weekend if they doesn't make the final NSW 17. In come Peni Tagive, Alex McKinnon, Reece Simmonds, Ben Hornby, Michael Greenfield, David Gower, Jack Bosden and Jake Marketo to the squad. Rookie forward Jack De Belin retains his spot on the bench. ]
NEW: W Naiqama (c), McManus, Sa'u, Lulia, Mata'utia, Roberts, Stig, Fa'aoso, De Gois, Tuimavave, Houston, Edwards, Southern. Bench: Hilder, Kaufusi, Ciraldo, Tolar, Karawana.
[Team Changes - The Knights didn't have Kurt Gidley (Hammy) last weekend but lose him this week to Origin 3 duty as well as Akuila Uate. James McManus has been named to return from an ankle injury but is no certainty and Adam MacDougall (despite not being named) is an outside chance. Ryan Stig and Tyrone Roberts are the halves. Steven Southern starts at lock with Neville Costigan out with a knee injury and Matt Hilder is on the bench with Cameron Ciraldo and Marvin Karawana - the latter are additions to the squad this week. ]
Wednesday Game Preview...
Check out the Video Preview or the Podcast - this text is updated Thursday Night with whatever has been said in the Video or Podcast.
Tipping + Fantasy Late Mail...
SMH and Other Late Mail 1/07 - There seems to be no sign that NSW Coach Ricky Stuart will release any of the 20 man squad he picked for Origin 3 for club duty at this stage - so fringe squad members Brett Morris and Trent Merrin are unlikely to play for the Dragons. James McManus remains a 50/50 chance for the Knights, Chris Houston should overcome a corked thigh and Jarrod Mullen is a long shot, while the Dragons won't trim their bench until news on the NSW Origin team comes through. Ben Hornby's ankle has appreciated the extra week's rest and should play.
BREAKING NEWS 1/7 - Trent Merrin has been released by the Blues to play for the Dragons this Sunday after being edged out of the Game 3 team by Keith Galloway. Brett Morris is expected to play Origin 3 with Michael Jennings expected to be ruled out within 24 hours.
The NRL Tweet's Tip...
DRAGONS To Win By 12 Points.
|-| |-| |-|
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
              V
7:05pm (Local) 4 July @ Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney.
Coming In...
14th ROOSTERS TEAM RECORD 4-10 for 12 Points, -85.
15th RAIDERS TEAM RECORD 4-10 for 12 Points, -88.
Head to Head Last 10...
ROOSTERS 6 RAIDERS 4 - The Roosters have won the last 3 games and 2 of those wins came in Canberra. The teams have only met at the SFS 3 times since 2006 - the Roosters have won all 3.
Tuesday Team News...
SYD: Khierallah, Perrett, J Carney, Kenny-Dowall, Leilua, Anasta (c), T Carney, Ryles, Friend, , Waerea-Hargreaves, Symonds, Takairangi, Guerraa. Bench: Waerea-Hargreaves, Masoe, Guerra, Symonds.
[Team Changes - The Roosters lose Anthony Minichiello, Nate Myles and Mitchell Pearce to Origin 3 duty but might get Shaun Kenny-Dowall back this week. Frank-Paul Nu'uausala is suspended and Boyd Cordner is injured, so Aiden Guerra, Brad Takairangi and Tom Symonds are the new backrow. Braith Anasta goes to five-eighth while Mark Khierallah is the new face at fullback. Justin Carney might be unlikely considering his hammy injury late in Sunday's loss to the Knights. While Tinirau Arona is the new face on the bench. ]
CAN: Massey, Ferguson, Croker, Thompson, Robinson, McCrone, Williams, White, Tongue (c), Learoyd-Lahrs, Picker, Papalii, Fensom. Bench: Buttriss, Harrison, Tilse, Thurling, Miller.
[Team Changes - Canberra have not named Josh Dugan but he is considered a decent change to play given the game is on Monday. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs starts for David Shillington to aggravated a pectoral injury and Trevor Thurling is the new player on the bench. Josh Miller has also been named on the extended bench but is yet to face a QLD Cup judicial charge for striking. ]
Wednesday Game Preview...
Check out the Video Preview or the Podcast - this text is updated Thursday Night with whatever has been said in the Video or Podcast.
Tipping + Fantasy Late Mail...
SMH and Other Late Mail 1/07 - The Raiders might get Josh Dugan back from an ankle injury given the game is on Monday Night, Nathan Massey would make way. The Roosters should get Shaun Kenny-Dowall back from an ankle injury given the game is Monday, while Justin Carney is also a good chance to overcome a hammy injury and Mose Masoe a shoulder in time for the game.
The NRL Tweet's Tip...
RAIDERS To Win By 2 Points.
