Those Bunnies finally fell over... and the Tigers proved to be the only thing stopping us from a perfect round. 


Tips for Round 20 2018

Sharks over Broncos
Tough tough tough one... Brisbane at home... but Cronulla might be rounding into some form after taking care of the desperate Raiders. Then again... Brisbane just crushed Penrith in Brisbane. Going Sharks...

Knights over Cowboys
Mitchell Pearce and Kalyn Ponga together again and the Cowboys are an utter rabble... so even in Townsville, as long as Newcastle tackle half decently they should find a way to continue JT's miserable season.

Tigers over Bulldogs
Surely the Tigers don't fall over themselves this week when they've just knocked off the Dragons and Bunnies in consecutive weeks?

Panthers over Sea Eagles
Expecting a big bounce back from Penrith - even at Brookie.

Rabbitohs over Eels
If Souths are the real deal - they win this by 20+. Parra are horrible and have nothing to play for. If Souths want a Top 4 spot - they have to win this.

Storm over Raiders
Melbourne thanks.

Warriors over Titans
Over to you Warriors - you want to snuff out the chasers for your Top 8 spot - you have to win this game on the Gold Coast. Lose and the door swings wide open.

Dragons over Roosters
Just have a feeling... Easts ran riot at Brookie, while the Dragons did what they had to in order to win in Townsville... Saints in a tight one.

5/8 last week... full disclosure when Cronk withdrew I changed from Roosters to Titans... so went 5/5 to open the weekend then 0/3 on Sunday. Don't change your tips kids... unless 98% of the Roosters good players are out... but evidently still don't pick the Titans.


Tips for Round 19 2018

Eels over Bulldogs
Going with the class of Corey Norman and Jarryd Hayne to get Parra a rare win in 2018 here...

Sharks over Raiders
Cronulla can pretty much snuff out any danger the Raiders can present to Cronulla's Top 8 place with a win here - so I can't see the Sharks giving this one up.

Broncos over Panthers
James Maloney is fit and I pick Penrith... right now he's no certainty so going with the Broncos in Brisbane.

Knights over Titans
The Gold Coast have burned me badly on consecutive weeks... and Mitchell Pearce played out of his skin on his return last week so that's the deciding factor. (Watches Titans turn it on now).

Rabbitohs over Tigers
What a pity this game is at ANZ and not Leichhardt... Farah plays 250 and Sutton plays 300... hopefully some people turn up. Tigers capable but Souths haven't given you a good reason not to pick them the last 2 months.

Dragons over Cowboys
Surely the Dragons aren't a team about to go on a second half fade-out again... I mean I'd like to see it but surely not even a JT inspired Cowboys in Townsville can be enough... the Cowboys have been deplorable pretty much all year. Dragons would be on the verge of dropping out of the Top 4 in a fortnight if they lost here - unthinkable stuff.

Storm over Warriors
In Auckland so you'd think the Warriors are a better chance... until you see all of Melbourne's Origin reps on the team sheet again.

Roosters over Sea Eagles
C'mon Manly... wake up... it's Sunday arvo at Brookie... but pick Easts.

Tips for Round 18 2018

Sharks over Panthers
Just on the back of Penrith resting Cleary, Maloney and probably Peachey... and last week's crushing win over the Warriors without them was nice and all but Cronulla aren't the Warriors.

Knights over Eels
Pearce back... guess I've gotta take Newcastle then.

Rabbitohs over Bulldogs
They are sitting on top of the ladder so South Sydney it is. Yes I'm still not in love with them yet.

Storm over Sea Eagles
Melbourne should be too good and will want some payback from being embarrassed by Manly in Melbourne a month or two back.

Raiders over Cowboys
Simply put Canberra have to win (and keep winning) this to stay in the Top 8 race... so cue a JT masterclass. But go with Canberra, enjoy the masterclass if it happens.

Broncos over Warriors
Don't really like picking Brisbane despite their comprehensive win over the Titans and the Warriors failing to turn up at Penrith last weekend. But it is in Brisbane, so Broncos.

Dragons over Tigers
Big bounce back time for the Dragons... if they are actually the team they want us to believe they are.

Roosters over Titans
This is only if Cooper Cronk plays... if he misses for the birth of his baby, then I would actually tip the Gold Coast to rebound from last Sunday's inept effort.

Tips for Round 17 2018

Storm over Dragons
Storm pack is superior in this one and they've still got Cameron Smith. Dragons win and all their fill in forwards deserve a raise.

Warriors over Panthers
Warriors at home (WHAT DID I WRITE A FEW HOURS BACK? The game is at Penrith - but yeah, Warriors). Panthers just missing too many key playmakers.

Raiders over Bulldogs
Josh Hodgson tried to beat Brisbane on his own... he'll accomplish the feat at Belmore.

Titans over Broncos
Ash Taylor v Anthony Milford... but I like the Gold Coast's supporting cast more.
