To Round 15 and there's 7 games on the schedule... and sorry, still no Late Mail. After Origin 3 things will resume as normal... maybe - are you surviving without it?
Truth be told The Postman's Postmen are struggling of late... no TLC on the squads last week and the resulting low scores told the story.
Sea Eagles v Roosters - Sea Eagles by 4 points.
Ripper of a contest - home ground is all that makes this pick Manly.
Broncos v Sharks - Broncos by 10 points.
Expect the Sharks to give Brisbane some sort of fight... no Gillett, McCullough or Parker are big outs but who can pick Cronulla these days?
Tigers v Raiders - Tigers by 6 points.
Actually wouldn't be surprised to see the Tigers win by 20... but gotta believe the Canberra players have a little bit of pride left to show?
Cowboys v Rabbitohs - Rabbitohs by 2 points.
Souths can easily lose this if they turn up with the wrong attitude because despite being a few key troops down - the Cowboys don't suck. But gotta stick with the relatively healthy Bunnies in comparison - even in Townsville.
Warriors v Panthers - Warriors by 4 points.
WRONG... something tells me the only way Penrith lose this is if they concede two early tries and since when have the Warriors delivered in games they need to win? Still... Warriors remain the pick at this stage because I'm still not convinced with Penrith (YES THEY ARE 2ND so we are on drugs).
Eels v Knights - Eels by 2 points.
Jarryd Hayne at home beats the moderately impressive Knights from last week... just.
Dragons v Storm - Storm by 6 points.
Sorry Saints... can't pick you, even at home against Melbourne.
The Postman's Late Mail is in flux... we apologise but when he can find the time to dig some up before everyone else does it on Thursday he'll bring it back.
Leaderboard after Round 11 |
The 'Special Fried Rice' picks have returned but given it is me v me, every week - I'll just be listing my 'SFR' of the week with the FootyTab Starts as the variation aspect to keep things interesting vs just saying 'this team will win this week - guaranteed'.
*www.wdnicolson.com makes no guarantees of decent picks every week - but we hope they are.
