Note: The order in which Special Fried Rice (the game we guarantee that team will win) is chosen rotates - this week Matt had 1st choice, Dave 2nd, Nic 3rd and Waz 4th. So it isn't as easy as it sounds to tip correctly each week.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
46
              V
16
7:45pm (Local) 29 July @ Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
NRLTweet Game Summary: Brisbane make it look like they are playing a NSW Cup team (might be an insult to that level) as they pummel Cronulla 46-16 at Suncorp.
Injuries: TBA
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Greg Delaney
4 - Justin Hodges, BRI
Scoring a hat-trick is not normally this easy. Broke 15 tackles for the match and gave Colin Best nightmares.
2 - Ben Hannant, BRI
Ran for a mammoth 231 metres from 19 carries. Had the Broncos moving forward and picked them up again in the second half when they went a bit flat.
1 - Corey Parker, BRI
Workman like as always. Made 30 tackles and 158 metres and kicked 6 goals.
Judge: Justin Davies
4 - Justin Hodges, BRI
Had a hat-trick and is slowly getting back to his best.
2 - Darren Lockyer, BRI
Orchestrated the pummelling of the Sharks, gave the young Cronulla halves a lesson.
1 - Jack Reed, BRI
After a few quiet games, he went back to the form which had him high in the rookie of the year voting.
BRONCOS - Griffin and Lockyer
SHARKS - Flanagan and Smith

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
12
              V
14
7:45pm (Local) 29 July @ Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford.
NRLTweet Game Summary: Wests Tigers give Manly a 12 point start, then run them down in the final 20 minutes to win 14-12 in front of 20,000 at Gosford.
Injuries: Michael Robertson (Concussion - late withdrawal)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Warrick Nicolson
4 - Benji Marshall, WTG
Is back in form and turned the game with a number of brilliant runs. His play to expose Jamie Lyon's shoot out of defence and go back down the blind-side to set up Chris Lawrence for the match winning - with a no look pass of course - was a thing of beauty. Pity his kicking for goal wasn't.
2 - Gareth Ellis, WTG
His mere presence makes the Tigers a better team and when he fires the Tigers normally win. Hit hard in defence and his will to win is infectious.
1 - Keith Galloway, WTG
Made it his mission to take on the big Manly forwards up the middle and gradually he wore them down.
Judge: Rob Neilsen
4 - Benji Marshall, WTG
Inspired the Tigers to a magnificent 2nd half comeback and set up two tries in the process.
2 - Liam Fulton, WTG
A tackling machine on the night with over 40 tackles. Made a few impressive hit ups as well.
1 - Jamie Lyon, MAN
Finished with 22 tackles and a number of decisive runs.
SEA EAGLES - Hasler and Lyon
TIGERS - Sheens and Farah

SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
32
              V
28
5:35pm (Local) 30 July @ Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney.
NRLTweet Game Summary: Sydney and Canterbury turn on the points at SFS but watch the game and you'll know why neither team will play Finals. Roosters won 32-28.
Injuries: Kane Linnett (Knee - late withdrawal), Jason Ryles (Head), Ben Roberts (Quad), Aiden Tolman (Shoulder)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Matthew Vickers
4 - Mitchell Pearce, SYD
His class and composure was the difference between the two sides. Controlled the game.
2 - Aiden Guerra, SYD
Scored two tries, broke six tackles and set up a vital try for Sam Perrett late in the game. Top performance after a season that has been interrupted by injury.
1 - Nate Myles, SYD
No one can accuse Myles of not turning up to play this week. Made 38 tackles and had 146 metres from 18 carries and scored a try.
Judge: Justin Davies
4 - Todd Carney, SYD
His performance was another glimpse of the 2010 version of Todd Carney. But where has it been for most of 2011?
2 - Ben Barba, CBY
Electrifying as usual. Scored a length of the field try to open the scoring and was Canterbury's biggest threat.
1 - Frank Pritchard, CBY
A handful every time he touched the ball. One his better - more involved - games of the year.
ROOSTERS - Smith and Anasta
BULLDOGS - Dymock and Ryan

SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
30
              V
18
7:35pm (Local) 30 July @ Dairy Farmers Stadium, Townsville
NRLTweet Game Summary: North Queensland make a charge midway through the 2nd half to beat the Panthers 30-18. Segeyaro with one of the hits of the year!
Injuries: Kalifa Fai-Fai Loa (Hammy), Brent Tate (Ankle), Luke Lewis (Head)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Matt Spillane
4 - James Segeyaro, NQL
Great impact coming off the bench, scoring two tries and producing one of the hits of the season on a much bigger man in Penrith prop Sam McKendry.
2 - Matthew Bowen, NQL
Still the chief in attack with Thurston out and his kicking game created a number of North Queensland attacking opportunities.
1 - Michael Jennings, PEN
Looked dangerous every time he touched the ball and his duel with Brent Tate was great to watch.
Judge: Dane Neville
4 - James Segeyaro, NQL
The kid is a freak. Scored two dummy half tries and provided the spark North Queensland needed when he came on.
2 - Matthew Bowen, NQL
Is in superb form - has stepped up in Thurston's absence and the Cowboys remain in the Top 4 as a result.
1 - Ashton Sims, NQL
Made his presence felt off the bench with some strong runs of the footy and scored his first try of the year to avoid the nudie run.
COWBOYS - Henry and Scott
PANTHERS - Georgallis and Civoniceva

SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL
29
              V
10
2:05pm (Local) 31 July @ Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland.
NRLTweet Game Summary: The Warriors continue their winning ways, as a dominant 2nd half seals their 29-10 win over Canberra at Mt Smart.
Injuries: Simon Mannering (Knee), Jarrod Croker (Thigh), Bronson Harrison (Shoulder), Josh Dugan (Ankle)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Warrick Nicolson
4 - Kevin Locke, WAR
Can look a million bucks when he's allowed to float around the ruck and chime in to the backline. Shaping up as a key weapon for the Warriors come September.
2 - David Shillington, CAN
Huge in his comeback game from injury. Although the Raiders couldn't capitalise on his strong runs and good defence - he made a difference.
1 - James Maloney, WAR
Have said it many times but if he played in Sydney - he'd be a star.
Judge: Craig Buchanan
4 - Kevin Locke, WAR
A powerful display from the young fullback. His 1 on 1 steal set up the momentum shift for the Warriors in the 2nd half,
2 - James Maloney, WAR
Another great display from Maloney, he controlled play well and his general play kicking was quality. Iced the game with a field goal late and scored a try.
1 - Manu Vatuvei
A second strong game in a row from The Beast, he averaged over 10m/run and scored the opening try with sheer power.
WARRIORS - Cleary and Mannering
RAIDERS - Furner and Tongue

SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL
50
              V
20
2:05pm (Local) 31 July @ AusGrid Stadium, Newcastle.
NRLTweet Game Summary: Newcastle are pushed early by the Gold Coast but then proceed to throw them off a cliff, thrashing the hapless Titans 50-20 at AusGrid.
Injuries: Greg Bird (Chest), William Zillman (Heart)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Matthew Duncan
4 - Jarrod Mullen, NEW
A very classy halfback who controlled the game very well and had his team running like a well-oiled machine. Made a very ordinary Titans team look even more ordinary.
2 - Akuila Uate, NEW
An excitement machine to watch and the poor Titans stood back and watched him cross the try line three times.
1 - Adam MacDougall, NEW
In the twilight of his career but still in great from. Was a great performance from the veteran in both attack and defence.
Judge: Ben Hoese
4 - Akuila Uate, NEW
The killer bagged a hattrick, constantly dangerous in attack, solid in defence.
2 - Greg Bird, GLD
One of a very few good players in a terrible Titans team. Did everything he could to lift the team.
1 - Adam MacDougall, NEW
Strong game returning from injury. Kept the defence second guessing and linked well with his winger Uate.
KNIGHTS - Stone and Gidley
TITANS - Murphy and Prince

SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOOTBALL
24
              V
34
3:05pm (Local) 31 July @ WIN Stadium, Wollongong.
NRLTweet Game Summary: St.George-Illawarra are white hot early to set up a 20-0 lead over South Sydney... only to get run down (twice) & lose 34-24 at WIN.
Injuries: Ben Lowe (Ankle)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Ben Hoese
4 - Chris Sandow, SOU
Parramatta lick their lips when they watch Sandow play like this. Part of the comeback and found a way to lift his team to victory against the odds.
2 - Dylan Farrell, SOU
Always in the right place at the right time and he capped his hat-trick with the match winning try.
1 - Matt Cooper, STI
The guy is a try-scoring machine this season. Very good in defence and attack.
Judge: Warrick Nicolson
4 - Issac Luke, SOU
The catalyst for the comeback. His running from dummy half was nothing short of sensational and the Dragons couldn't find a way to nullify it. Great footy player.
2 - Michael Crocker, SOU
Made a huge difference to the team... well when they realised that being down 20-0 might warrant having a go. His defence in the second half in particular had the kind of sting that lifts his team-mates.
1 - Ben Ross, SOU
Deserves a contract for next season. Even with his team down 20-0 early - his hitups had the same effort then as they did when Souths got in front in the second half.
DRAGONS - Bennett and Hornby
RABBITOHS - Lang and Crocker

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
18
              V
22
7:05pm (Local) 1 August @ Parramatta Stadium, Parramatta.
NRLTweet Game Summary: This Round sees Melbourne stand taller than their peers for the premiership, come back from 18-0 down with 20 left to beat Parramatta 22-18.
Injuries: Jeff Robson (Jaw)
GAME STATS
2011 @NRLTweet Player of the Year Votes
Judge: Maria Tsialis
4 - Billy Slater, MEL
Billy weaves his magic so often you start to forget how special he actually is. See his try off a Cameron Smith kick for evidence.
2 - FuiFui MoiMoi, PAR
Moi Moi has been one of the props of the year in an underperforming team. 9/10 he'll get over the advantage line, as he did in this game.
1 - Cooper Cronk, MEL
Most of his kicks were deft and he troubled the Eels when the Storm finally started playing some football.
Judge: Haylen Southon
4 - Cooper Cronk, MEL
Provided the spark to kick start the storm. Cronks creativity was the key for the comeback in the second half.
2 - Reni Maitua, PAR
Scored Parramatta's opening try and worked hard for the rest of the night. Continues an impressive comeback after two years out of the game.
1 - Cameron Smith, MEL
Quiet start for the Australian hooker, but more involvement and control of the ruck in the second half saw the usual polished display from Smith.
EELS - Kearney and Hindmarsh

STORM - Bellamy and Smith
