Bulldogs v Dragons<> Market Watch: CBY $2.60 v STI $1.50
> Tuesday Preview: Canterbury had the bye in Round 9 and looked like they needed it after getting run over by Parramatta the week before. St.George-Illawarra were penned in their own half for the first 40mins against Manly and couldn't chase points in their 24-6 loss at Brookvale. Both teams get players back from injury (big INs are Josh Morris for Bulldogs & Michael Weyman for Dragons) but the absence of Ben Hannant up front for the Dogs is a factor too big to ignore given how much they've relied on him and David Stagg all season - so it I'm tipping the Dragons at ANZ.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Canterbury get Josh Morris, Yileen Gordon & Dene Halatau back from injury for this one but there's still no Ben Hannant. Blake Green holds onto his starting spot at five-eighth but surely it is only a matter of time before Ben Barba gets a start? Broncos v Titans<> Market Watch: BRI $1.87 v GLD $1.95
> Tuesday Preview: Brisbane swept Melbourne aside - IN Melbourne so will go into this local derby with the favoured Titans full of confidence. Gold Coast are favourites but looked rattled against Newcastle and are ripe for the picking here - their defence was ordinary last week and the Broncos look like they have points in them. This is at Suncorp and even though Scott Prince, Preston Campbell & Greg Bird all looked dangerous v Knights - the Broncos forwards are standing up and I'm banking on them to overcome a tired looking Titans pack. Brisbane at home.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Darren Lockyer is in fine form at the moment and he'll get Antonio Winterstein and possible Matt Gillett back to work with this week. The inclusion of Gillett is huge if he's fit as he gives the Broncos a third running backrow threat along with Sam Thaiday & the much improved Ben Te'o. Denan Kemp makes way for Winterstein while Peter Wallace is a big IN at the expense of Corey Norman who goes back to the bench. Nick Kenny is listed again on the bench as he tries to come back from a calf tear. The Titans are unchanged but we might see William Zillman start at fullback, Campbell to five-eighth and Bird to lock, if backrower Anthony Laffranchi can't recover from a shoulder complaint he picked up against Newcastle. (Updated May 14) Brisbane look like having Matt Gillett and Nick Kenny back for this game with either Corey Norman or Gerard Beale dropping off the bench. The Titans have lost Clinton Toopi during the week replaced by the slightly less dangerous Josh Graham... although look for William Zillman or Sam Tagataese to play some minutes at centre and Graham to start off the bench. Warriors v Cowboys<> Market Watch: WAR $1.40 v NQL $2.95
> Tuesday Preview: Take nothing away from North Queensland who were great against a self-destructive Roosters team on Monday Night - but the Warriors simply have to win this game. Coach Ivan Cleary has evidently woken up to himself and picked his best team this season with the likes of Seymour, Mannering, Locke & Vatuvei returning. The Cowboys got a huge lift from Matt Bowen's return to beat the Roosters but their halves combination of Rovelli & Morgan didn't look threatening at all. Scott Bolton continues to impress and both Matt Scott & Willie Mason have made compelling arguments for their Origin inclusions. But the home team have troops back and look a far more potent group than we're used to seeing under Cleary, so I'm picking the Warriors by a few.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Host of quality back for the Warriors with Simon Mannering, Manu Vatuvei & Brett Seymour back from long term injuries and Kevin Locke promoted back into first grade. Rookie prop Mataupu Poching gets a run but Cleary's handling of young props isn't very good (Russell Packer is getting confidence whiplash) so who knows how much he'll play. Lewis Brown, Bill Tupou, Joel Moon have been punted while Patrick Ah Van broke his jaw v Canberra. The Cowboys have named the same 17 that beat the Roosters and young Dane Hogan's debut (he's the one that looks like Hulk Hogan's love child) was encouraging given how willing he was to put his head in front of the ball carriers arm every time he made a tackle. (Update May 14) Rumours were doing the rounds on Thursday night that Johnathan Thurston & Luke O'Donnell would play in this game but it seems more likely they simply stayed with the team on its two week road trip rather than return to Townsville alone. Don't expect either to play. Carl Webb is also on that list of possible starters but expect the same 17 Cowboys that beat the Roosters. The Warriors have LOST Simon Mannering who still isn't convinced his hamstring injury is 100% - Lewis Brown comes straight back into the lineup for him. The home team will still omit one of Russell Packer, Jeremy Latimore or Jesse Royal from their bench, but expect rookie Mataupu Poaching to start on the pine. (SMH Late Mail)

Roosters v Knights<> Market Watch: SYD $1.90 v NEW $1.90
> Tuesday Preview: This game is at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford so the Roosters have given up their home ground advantage... not that playing in front of approx 5,000 (officially 6,400) last Monday against the Cowboys was much of an advantage though. Todd Carney looked dangerous in his second game at halfback for the Roosters and he's the x-factor in this one, given Jarrod Mullen has been ruled out by the Knights. The Roosters couldn't hold onto the pill v Nth Qld and injuries picked up during the game by Nate Myles & Jared Waerea-Hargreaves would place them both in some doubt. Newcastle are going in with Ben Rogers & Scott Dureau in their halves... you'd like to think Carney & Braith Anasta would have them covered... Roosters by a whisker on the Central Coast.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): The Roosters will sweat on the injuries to Myles & Waerea-Hargreaves... if these guys don't play then Newcastle will become raging hot favourites. But the thing is the Knights don't have Mullen (injured late v Titans) and Zeb Taia is also absent. Newcastle get Steven Simpson back from injury and promote Rogers to a playmaking role but is that going to make up for the absence of Mullen & Taia? The Roosters might have some late inclusions even if Myles & Waerea-Hargreaves play - as is Coach Brian Smith's habit on game day... namely Mitchell Pearce. (Update May 14) Looks like Mitchell Pearce playing is unlikely but there may be a shift at halfback with Newtown Jet Liam Foran rumoured to be injected there and Todd Carney moving back to fullback. Given the Roosters played Monday Night - don't expect the team Brian Smith named to be the same one that plays at Bluetongue. The Knights have doubts over Scott Dureau and Ben Rogers - with Kurt Gidley likely to shift to the halves and Shannon McDonnell playing fullback. (SMH Late Mail)

Raiders v Storm<> Market Watch: CAN $2.30 v MEL $1.62
> Tuesday Preview: Canberra have either got the Storm at the perfect time or will thank the Broncos for nothing for re-energising Melbourne for the next few weeks. Canberra simply cannot beat the team Craig Bellamy kept together over the past six or seven seasons and it will take another flat display by the Storm to break the losing streak. Canberra were impressive beating the Warriors but have punted their only real halfback (Marc Herbert - who officially 'tweaked an ankle at training') in favour of a very average five-eighth playing half in Josh McCrone... (can you tell we don't rate Canberra's decision to make McCrone their 'halfback of the future' last week by re-signing him). Terry Campese needs to run the ball more to give the Raiders a chance in this one... and given Peter Sterling today called for his inclusion in the NSW State of Origin Team - he might just produce it. Canberra to get close at one stage but the Storm even without Cameron Smith will win.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Canberra dropped Herbert, Drury Low & Sam Mataora (18th man) for this one in favour of McCrone, Daniel Vidot & Joe Picker from the team that defeated the Warriors in Round 8. Alan Tongue is still unavailable with a groin injury but the Raiders looked better with a genuine hooker in the #9 with Glen Buttriss. Melbourne have added Sika Manu to their bench after his comeback in the ANZAC Test for New Zealand and expect one of Proctor or Kostjasyn to give way for his inclusion. Ryan Hinchcliffe continues to do a good job deputising for the injured Cameron Smith. (Update May 14) Anthony Quinn has a busted hand and is replaced by Luke MacDougall for the Storm, while Sika Manu will play. The Raiders will likely shave 18th man Sam Mataora off their bench and take in the first 17 named at Canberra Stadium. (SMH Late Mail)

Tigers v Rabbitohs<> Market Watch: WTG $1.75 v SOU $2.08
> Tuesday Preview: Will we get the Wests Tigers team that opened the season 4-1 or the one that has lost 3 straight? With Robbie Farah back at hooker where he is the best in the league at running a side - we'll take the 4-1 Tigers showing up this week against the Rabbitohs. Tim Sheens has included Robert Lui to be his link man and that should open up the field for the free-wheeling Tigers. South Sydney have been average in their past three starts (losses to Manly & Parramatta and being handed a game in Canberra after trailing 24-6 at halftime) but John Sutton has picked his game up of late and they do get Roy Asotasi back from injury. This game is at the SCG so it should be a cracker given the quick hard surface and I'm taking the Tigers as a result.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): With Robbie Farah back at hooker, Lui comes in at halfback. The Tigers have listed Liam Fulton on the bench but don't be surprised if Todd Payten starts there instead. Mitch Brown is there as cover if Lui can't play. The Bunnies get Roy Asotasi back from a knee injury and he replaces Garret Crossman. Michael Crocker may be a late inclusion as he pushes for a shot at a Queensland jumper. (Updated May 12) Tigers prop Keith Galloway is on the shelf for a fortnight after being ruled out with a hand injury. Junior Moors will be his replacement. (Update May 14) With Galloway out, look for Todd Payten to play prop and Liam Fulton to join the backrow. Junior Moors will remain on the bench and Mitch Brown should hold his spot also. Sharks v Panthers<> Market Watch: CRO $2.75 v PEN $1.45
> Tuesday Preview: Cronulla aren't without hope in this game as the bye would have done them good working on combinations between newish halfback Tim Smith, veteran Trent Barrett and rookie fullback Nathan Gardner (who tore up the Toyota Cup). Their pack doesn't stink and their bench has the added impact of Adam Cuthbertson this week. But the Panthers also had the bye and despite getting beaten 38-24 by the Titans in Round 8 - played well. Penrith have big Frank Pritchard back from injury too and Luke Lewis is in career best form... as a result you have to pick the Panthers on the road to get the cash.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Cronulla Coach Ricky Stuart recalls Cuthbertson from NSW Cup at the expense of Luke Harlen and promotes Toyota Cup sensation Nathan Gardner ahead of a rather unlucky Nathan Stapleton. The Panthers have Pritchard back in the starting lineup alongside Trent Waterhouse and Lewis, while Shane Elford is preferred to Brad Tighe (off-field indescretion) on the wing. Penrith's extended bench includes Gavin Cooper. (Update May 14) It appears that Frank Pritchard is no certainty in this one after a slow recovery from a shoulder injury, his place in the starting team would be taken by Nathan Smith. Only two of Masada Iosefa, Gavin Cooper and Wade Graham will make the bench. (SMH Late Mail)

Sea Eagles v Eels<> Market Watch: MAN $1.57 v PAR $2.40
> Tuesday Preview: Manly kept St.George-Illawarra in a box during the first half of their Round 9 game and deserved to knock off the competition leaders 24-6 at Brookvale. Parramatta might present a tougher task as odd as that may sound. One thing the Eels do better than most is off-load the ball (well the last two rounds anyway) and Manly's big forward pack doesn't handle that well. They like numbers in the tackle and the Dragons play a lot of one out football early in their sets. Manly's pressure on Jamie Soward was key to the win last week but Parra feature a few kickers so it might be tougher to single out one kicker to pressure. Even though this is at Brookvale - I'm tipping the upset and going with Jarryd Hayne & Nathan Hindmarsh to star in an Eels victory.
> Selection & Fantasy News (Updated May 11): Both teams are unchanged from their Round 9 & Round 8 teams respectively. However Parramatta five-eighth Kris Keating did hurt himself playing for City on Friday Night and will be in doubt right up until kick-off. If he's hurt either Feleti Mateo or Daniel Mortimer will shift to the #6 jumper. Keiran Foran is the only Sea Eagle in doubt after picking up a hamstring strain v St.George-Illawarra, although it may have just been cramp from playing two games in 24 hours. Eric Grothe could be a late starter if he trains well this week coming back from a minor surgery. (Update May 14) Kieran Foran should play but hamstring strains are always touch and go the week after doing one. The rest of the Manly team looks healthy... apart from Steven Matai who is always hurt! Parramatta will probably lose Kris Keating unless the weekend is kind to his injury with rookie Tom Humble tipped to join the squad if Keating is ruled out. The switcheroo mentioned above would take place if Keating can't play. (SMH Late Mail)
