Tips for Round 1 2018
Dragons over Broncos
Home ground factor the ONLY reason I'm going with Saints.
Sea Eagles over Knights
Newcastle's going to be the sexy pick at home but Manly should be your pick. Let's see what the Knights have in store for us first before we hand them a Top 8 spot yeah?
Cowboys over Sharks
Cracking first Friday Night Footy prime time game - Cowboys on the back of JT and Townsville thanks.
Roosters over Tigers
Tedesco to score a hat-trick and Roosters by a fair margin in the end.
Rabbitohs over Warriors
Toss a coin. Don't rate either team... neutral ground. R comes before W and so does S.
Storm over Bulldogs
No Slater, no Cronk. Still going the Storm with authority in Perth.
Eels over Panthers
Have changed this pick multiple times this week - Penrith in Penrith is a factor but Parra have more strikepower in them, something I didn't think I'd ever say but you can't jettison Moylan and Cartwright and be the same threat with the ball no matter how good Maloney is at what he does. Parra on Sunday arvo footy hopefully in front of a packed Penrith Park.
Raiders over Titans
I like the Titans a lot this year - they'll play some football and beat their share of average teams. Question is how average a team is Canberra without Hodgson and playing Austin off the bench? You are well within your rights to go with the Gold Coast here - and I almost encourage it if you've gone a few roughies before Sunday night rolls around.
