Okay... it might be time to give up.
2/8 in Round 4 after starting 0/4 is one way to look for a positive... as thankfully Canberra suck - allowing Manly to be the first favourite to win, then the Dragons took care of the Knights. But then the Titans and Tigers ruined any hope of a 4/8 weekend by being much better than their 'opposition'.
This has easily been my worst start to a tipping season in recent memory so I apologise if you're still relying on me but I'm confident I'm not alone.
Let's see what Round 5 brings.
Tips for Round 5 2018
Raiders over Bulldogs
Yeah... nah. In Canberra right?
Roosters over Sharks
Dunno... Easts have been good and terrible, Sharks mostly average. Probably should pick Cronulla at home but anyhoo...
Dragons over Rabbitohs
Dragons should make it 5-0.
Storm over Tigers
Hobbled Cam Smith and down Chambers and Finucane... I should be picking the Tigers but I just can't do it. Melbourne in Auckland... yeah, that's right.
Cowboys over Warriors
North Queensland are 1-3... the Warriors are 4-0... this is in Auckland and it's a double header so Mt Smart should be completely packed... just the tonic for the Warriors to remember they aren't that good and lose this.
Broncos over Knights
Guess I'll pick Brisbane... in Newy so no certainty at all.
Sea Eagles over Titans
Gold Coast in Round 3 v Round 4 was world's apart... Manly won't have Tom Trbojevic... this tip could change if I start to believe what I saw from the Titans last week I can see again.
Panthers over Eels
Sorry Parra... benefit of the doubt is gone at this point - so Penrith get the tip.
