Good Bunnies and Broncos...

Bad Tigers and Raiders.

Give the Cows and Dogs credit but the Tigers and Raiders should have won those games. 

Back to 7 games this weekend kids - given I'm only tipping at 54%-ish - it may be reasonable to expect 3 or 4 correct tips below.

Game of Round 12 is Monday at the SFS - Roosters v Storm.
Giddy up - plenty of time after Origin 1 as well for the rep players.

ROUND 12 TIPS
Panthers over Eels - Soward and Wallace back together so have to pick them... can't imagine myself ever saying that before I witnessed them together in 2014!
Souths over Titans - Souths will get a run for their money on the Gold Coast - seen these games lost before by 'better sides'.
LATE CHANGE! 5:45pm Friday Raiders over Broncos - Prepared to be burned again... Burned by Raiders last two weeks by believing in their attack and their defence has actually been what's cost them - and that's the element I like about the Broncos - their commitment in defence.
Cowboys over Manly - No DCE for Manly and the other team has about a million wins in a row going for them.
Warriors over Knights - Warriors are 'good' enough to lose this but they can't keep giving these games away if they want to be in the Top 8 at the end of 2015.
Sharks over Dragons - Can't bring myself to break my run of not tipping the Dragons all season long - but you certainly should based on form.
Roosters over Storm - Cracking matchup - just like the home team by a field goal.

Who doesn't pick the Knights, at home?

... this idiot.

Thanks Newcastle.

Got FNF right (always a nice feeling) and it looked like Parra was going to complete the comeback to start me 3/3... but no. Then the Sharks did finish off the comeback, Melbourne did what they had to, the Dragons played really really well, Newcastle stayed awake longer than the Tigers and Manly stopped playing footy at Brookie way too early.

Game of Round 11 is Sunday Footy in Canberra - Raiders v Bulldogs.
Are Canberra the real deal? They need to account for the Bulldogs at home if they really are as good as they've appeared to be the last month.

ROUND 11 TIPS
Souths over Eels - How can you pick a team that just learned its management has been fined half a mill and the club might be four points short of everyone else at the start of 2016? You simply have to pick Souths.
Tigers over Cowboys - No Farah or Woods is a blow... No Thurston, Scott, Tamou and Morgan is a bigger one.
Raiders over Bulldogs - Hoping this is a good game of footy... Canberra have no reason to be poor at home given recent form.
Broncos over Knights - Forget my bold intro above - I don't trust the Knights one iota. Ben Hunt, Anthony Milford and Andrew McCullough just need their forward pack to be solid and they have enough outside them to beat Newy.

Who picks the Knights?

At Brookie!

... this idiot.

Don't get me wrong - being 5/5 through Saturday night was akin to getting the news Charlize Theron was single (she still might be - anyone?) - but to go into the weekend (let alone Sunday) thinking the Knights had a chance (I knew Mullen was unlikely) against Manly at Brookie was just foolish.

Seeing the score was akin to the beating the Black Knight... painful but not something you can't rebound from.

So I didn't watch the game and I'm glad I didn't but I also missed DCE's performance... so there's that downside. 

The aim is to still end up around the 63% mark and 7/8 helped big time - we're back at nearly 56% after dropping dangerously close to the 50% mark a few weeks back.

Game of Round 10 is FNF in Townsville - Cows v Broncs.
Broncos deserve respect as table toppers after 9 Rounds but the Cows haven't lost since March and have Johnathan Thurston. But something is nagging at me that the Broncos win this... let's see where the tips end up come 7:45pm tonight but at the moment - sticking with home team.

ROUND 10 TIPS
Cowboys over Broncos - JT v BH decides this but Brisbane pack wins battle the Hunt's job is infinitely easier.
Roosters over Bulldogs - Should be a genuine NSW selection-off between the halves but Daley says it isn't.
Eels over Warriors - Warriors barely beat Sharks away from home, Eels bounce back here even without Sandow.
Titans over Sharks - Just see more points in Titans... but no certainties at all, Fifita is good enough to carry Sharks himself.
Storm over Souths - Enjoy this contest - even not at full strength Bunnies are good enough to win but have to pick Melbourne at home.
Raiders over Dragons - Really should respect Dragons more but Raiders giving you every reason to tip them with the attacking footy they are playing the last month.
Tigers over Knights - Classic game the Knights win after a run of poor form... but I've been burnt tipping them during this poor run... so Tigers get the cash because of Farah and Tedesco.
Manly over Panthers - Need to see that Penrith team back at fullish strength to be confident - plus DCE is playing superbly right now. Panthers not friendless but it is at Brookie.

Last week 7/8: Got everyone bar those KNIGHTS!

Time to get back on the horse kids... and after getting 4/8 in Round 8 time to go round up some cattle.

Now 4/8 is nothing to gloat about but when you got 4/16 the previous two weeks - there's reason for optimism.

The aim is to still end up around the 63% mark... where we lived for the first 5 rounds but have made life very hard work since.

Game of Round 9 is FNF at the SFS - Chooks v Tigers.
I know I've said the Chooks win the last 4 weeks... so the balance of probability says this will happen but I don't think the Tigers roll over - so it should be a fairly entertaining contest.

ROUND 9 TIPS
Broncos over Panthers - hardly confident.
Roosters over Tigers - should win.
Raiders over Titans - both going well, home team.
Warriors over Sharks - over to you SJ.
Cowboys over Bulldogs - Dogs huge chance with no Taumalolo.
Knights over Manly - Gut feel, as Foran my Manly barometer.
Storm over Eels - Don't trust Parra.
Souths over Dragons - Finish the run Bunnies.
