Hands up if you only got Parramatta wrong last weekend?

Now hands up if on one of the two sites you log your tips in you inexplicably had Canberra down as your pick instead of the Warriors - despite declaring the Warriors from Wednesday on...

This guy.

Sigh... it was bad enough changing from Parra to Saints (for the first time this year!!!) but to drop a tip in the work comp because of pure stupidity is amazingly frustrating.

Game of Round 17 is Sunday Arvo at Brookie - Manly v Cronulla.

Manly have their backline fit (bar Lyon - who might be a late addition) and Cronulla just beat the Cowboys in Nth Qld without Paul Gallen. They don't have Gallen or Ennis but their forward pack is going great right now... this should be handy contest.

ROUND 17 TIPS
Penrith over Souths - I was a believer in the Panthers at Leichhardt... but that was against the Tigers... I'm not sold on Penrith at all in this but Joel Reddy is lining up for Souths - so Penrith it is.
Dragons over Cowboys - Give me Widdop and Marshall over Lui and Thompson any day of every week... and I don't like Saints at all but no faith in Cowboys sans their stars.
Manly over Sharks - This could change 85 times before Friday's cut-off... I liked Cronulla all week but Manly with Foran and DCE and a moderately okay pack... I guess I have to back them now Ennis is out despite Cronulla's pack going really good of late. But backline wise Manly are much stronger.
Eels over Tigers - Tigers probably wake up... Eels probably go back to sleep... but how you tip either of these team with any serious conviction is beyond me.

As for #Origin 3... heck, Farah plays I think NSW can do it... Ennis plays and say hello QLD!

Last week 7/8: Only missed on Dragons... I now loathe the Dragons!

Raiders over Cowboys - JT plays and I change my tip tmw... he's the difference here if he plays. But given I don't think he does = Canberra.

No I didn't change my tip... goose.

Game of Round 16 is Monday Night back at Belmore - Bulldogs v Storm.

Just think the suburban ground and a likely full house makes this a game you'll want to watch... yes I said a near full crowd on a Monday night #fingerscrossed

ROUND 16 TIPS
Broncos over Knights - You can't pick Newcastle here given Brisbane's run so far... that said, stranger things have happened. And hey Jarrod Mullen's playing...
Souths over Manly - Don't trust Manly's pack as much as I like their backline... Souths should win, they get Glenn Stewart and Issac Luke back and I'm far more confident (duh!).
Warriors over Raiders - Raiders blew another game they should have won against a good team - which is better than losing games you never look like winning against bad ones, but Warriors at home deserve favouritism.
Sharks over Cowboys - Look... JT played last week because he's the ultimate competitor but I don't think he overrules Paul Green for a second week in a row - so he won't play (gulp) and I think we all saw what the Cowboys look like in attack without him... remember that Tigers-Cowboys epic? Sharks grind out a huge win for them on the road and the Cows drop one.
Dragons over Eels - Part of me just wants to keep tipping against Saints all season long but to get to Round 16 before tipping a team in 4th is a fairly impressively stubborn thing to do anyway! Thing is, I think Parra can win this game at home... and Saints worry me over the second half of the season.
Roosters over Titans - Easts have dropped a few more games this year than you'd expect with poor performances - I don't think they back up a good one last Monday with a poor one on the Central Coast Sunday.
Panthers over Tigers - No Segeyaro, no Moylan... but that forward pack and three-quarter line are looking fare better for Penrith than of late and I just have a feeling the Tigers might get a rude shock from the Panthers' bench in this one. Still - picking against the Tigers at Leichhardt isn't the wisest call of all time.
Bulldogs over Storm - Fair dinkum the Storm were good on Sunday... and lost. The Dogs are in that mode Des Hasler loves where they win but no one really notices... back at Belmore on MNF - expect the 'Dogs are barking' headlines to annoy Dessie deluxe come Tuesday.

Last week 4/7: Got Manly, Bulldogs, Sharks and Roosters.
